Jake's gone!

Yes, it's 7 degrees in Manhattan but Jake is enjoying the warm rays of the sun from Baja, Mexico, where it's currently a lovely 76 degrees. Lucky dude!

We're starting this blog to keep track of the stuff that happens while Jake is gone until April 10th - that's 77 days from now.

This is what we're dealing with, this week. Freezing temperatures, rubber booties and a flannel-lined coat for Nica. And I have to say she wears them well, if reluctantly. I think she knows the value of the rubber booties but it sure makes for some fun visuals when she stands up and tries to walk.

Here's to you, Jake. Enjoy that Mexican sun! We'll keep track of stuff so you can catch up when you return.
